Terms & Conditions

All orders are subject to the following terms and conditions. These shall form part of any contract concluded
between Party in a Box Direct Ltd. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

 

TRANSACTION SECURITY

Party in a Box Direct Ltd use the services of World Pay a leading online credit payment agency who have

secure server software to keep your transaction private and protected. For further information on transaction

security go to www.worldpay.com.

 

GENERAL
A binding contract for the sale of all products will be created upon a communication being sent by Party in a

Box Direct to the buyer confirming acceptance of the buyer's order and upon no other event. 'Acceptance'

shall for the avoidance of doubt be at the time the communication is 'sent' by Party in a Box Direct.

 

The completion of an order form and payment for the products shall be deemed conclusive evidence that the

 buyer agrees to be bound by these conditions of sale.

 

DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS

Party in a Box Direct Ltd will normally dispatch boxes within 7 working days of the order being confirmed and

payment being received, however during busy periods this cannot be guaranteed.


Delivery within the UK will normally be made within 4 to 5 working days of dispatch. However, please allow

up to 14 days for arrival.

Delivery within the EC will normally be made within 5 to 10 working days of dispatch. Please allow up to

21 days for arrival.

Delivery to anywhere else in the World will normally be made within 10 working days of dispatch. Please allow

up to 28 days for arrival.

 

For overseas deliveries, the buyer is regarded as the importer of record. If the buyer is subject to additional

charges duties and/or taxes these are the sole responsibility of the buyer

 

CUSTOMER SERVICES AND RETURNS
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we guarantee to exchange it or provide a refund, (less

the cost of postage), whatever your preference. Once you have received the goods you have seven working

days in which you may contact us to reject the goods.  This 7 working day cancellation period starts the "day

after" the day that the goods are received and we will provide a refund within 30 days of receipt of the

returned goods.

 

When returning goods to Party in a Box Direct Ltd, please ask your Post Office for proof of postage. We regret

that we are only able to refund postage costs for the return of goods when they are faulty.

 

CANCELLED ORDERS
On occasions even if the order was despatched on the day of receipt, the postal system may  be unable to deliver

in time as the customer has not allowed sufficient time to receive the goods. On these occasions ‘Party in a Box

Direct’ will try and offer express postage, for which there will be an extra charge. When orders need to be

cancelled as a result of the customer allowing insufficient time for the order to be delivered or if a customer

decides to cancel their order before the items are despatched then ‘Party in a Box Direct Ltd’ reserves the right

to charge an administration fee to  cover the costs of credit card transactions, packing and packaging.

 

LOSS OR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
When goods are lost or damaged in transit, Party in a Box Direct Ltd will replace the damaged

products or provide a refund, which ever the buyer prefers.

 

We will make every effort to ensure that the products which we supply to you, will be of satisfactory quality.

If you discover a defect in the quality of the products you should notify us within 7 days of receiving your

order. If you do notify us of a defect in the quality of the products and as a result of the defect, those products

are not of satisfactory quality, we will replace the products free of charge or, if preferred we will give you a

full refund including the cost of returning the goods to us.

HANDLING COMPLAINTS

We hope that you will be pleased with the goods and service provided. We would welcome any comments that

you have on ways in which Party in a Box Direct Ltd can be improved.

 

If you do have cause to complain please contact our Customer Service Department (contact details below).

They will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days. A subsequent investigation into the complaint will

be made and customer services will endeavor to reply to your complaint within 28 days of the acknowledgement.

Our complaints procedure aims to be fair, confidential, effective and will not affect your statutory rights.

Public Holidays). Answer machine service also available 24 hours per day.  Please quote

your name and date of order during any correspondence.

 

TOY SAFETY
All products sold by Party in a Box Direct Ltd comply with the European Toy Safety Regulations and where

appropriate bear the CE mark. Products are suitable for use for children aged three years and above.

The use of any product should be supervised at all times by an adult.

 

CHANGES IN SPECIFICATION
Party in a Box Direct Ltd reserves the right to make changes at any time and without notice in the materials,

dimensions, colours and design of its products and such changes shall not affect the validity of any contract

with the buyer provided that such variations and modification do not adversely affect in any material way

the performance of the products or the quality of workmanship or of materials used. Where there has been

a material change to any product ordered by the buyer, Party in a Box Direct Ltd will endeavour to supply the

buyer with a product that is identical to that ordered or a product that is as far as is possible similar to that

ordered.

 

The buyer has the option to accept or decline any replacement with a full refund given if any replacement is

unacceptable.

 

PRICES
The price of products confirmed at the point of purchase will remain fixed during the transaction.

All prices quoted on the site are subject to alterations without notice to take account of fluctuations in the

cost of labour and materials and of alterations in rates of exchange and import duty which may occur it the

course of manufacturing the products. All prices quoted include sales tax/VAT. Party in a Box Direct Ltd shall

be entitled to adjust the price to take account of any delay on the part of the buyer in supplying information

required to complete his order or of any alteration made by the buyer to the specifications or other

information supplied by the buyer.

 

GOVERNING LAW
The construction, validity and performance of these Conditions of Sale and of any agreement that exists

between Party in a Box Direct Ltd and the buyer shall be governed in all respects by English Law. In any

dispute with Party in a Box Direct Ltd regarding these Conditions of Sale or the supply of products to the

buyer, the parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
